Welcome to your NEW Village! The Village Play Place Academy is now a licensed Childcare and Preschool facility—a nurturing, safe, and joyful space for your little ones to grow, learn, and thrive from their very first weeks of life through Pre-K.
The program's Lead Teacher is a 30-year educator, who is Certified PreK to 12th grade - and created the curriculum! 86% of our staff have a master's degree ranging in Education, Childhood Development, Public Health & Business!

The Pre-K Program is for ages 3 to 5 Years of Age

Little Shoes Academy
Developed by two seasoned educators with over 60 years of combined teaching experience across various settings, Little Shoes Academy redefines the term "curriculum" by offering a truly engaging and research-based learning experience for little learners.
Research-Based
​Little Shoe's Academy's curriculum is grounded in recent and peer-reviewed research. The science of reading is our backbone for literacy. Our program features the latest and most effective teaching methods and was created by two educators with a combined 60 years of experience!
Art, Games + Snacks
What's learning without fun? Enjoy creative art projects, gross motor skill games, and themed snacks that make every day exciting. Fine motor skills are seamlessly integrated as well, ensuring a well-rounded developmental experience for your kids!​
Multi-Layered
Much of the instruction from the curriculum covers more than one simple skill. Each week focuses on a new theme, complete with intentional, well thought out lessons that go beyond mere activities. This approach ensures that each child's way of learning is addressed.
Biblical Influence
Little Shoe's Academy has also developed a Bible curriculum that will be incorporated alongside the Pre-K curriculum. Each week focuses on stories beginning in the Old Testament and ending with the Fruits of the Spirit. (i.e. Kindness, Peace, Joy...)
Comprehensive
Little Shoe's Academy curriculum provides a comprehensive introduction to most subjects: language skills, math, social studies and science! Each lesson develops a solid foundation for reading & math skills and helps them understand their place within the family & their community.

Achievable Milestones
Watch your child flourish during their time at The Village Play Place Academy! By the end, they'll be reading simple words, counting to 25, understanding addition to ten, and possessing the many other skills as they get ready to enter Kindergarten.
